Commonly referred to as a quarter basement, the area is approximately the size of the kitchen just above. The area is clean and has about 10 feet of shelving to the right. Retaining walls have all been rebuilt and backfilled with gravel.
The attic is about eight feet from the floor to the bottom of the ridge beam. Most of the area has been planked with flooring as can be seen in photo. The real value here is the potential to integrate this area into a future expansion of the house. I believe this area could easily accomidate a bedroom and full bath.
A thermostatically controlled exhaust fan keeps the temperature moderated in the attic and helps the house stay cooler during the day and cool down faster in the evening.
The basement area is accessed by a stairwell on the outside of the house.
Looking towards basement access you will see new, high quality water heater has been installed 4 months ago.
Attic access is located in the hallway via folding attic stairs.
