We bought this home about a decade ago. Already a lover of traditional architecture from the early 1900’s, the potential of this home was apparent in spite of an early 1980’s “makeover. This 1910 bungalow has a beautiful front façade that has been restored to reflect the millwork and color palate consistent with this period.
Every effort has been made to repair the original structure consistent with original workmanship and materials.
The front entry is an architectural focal point. The landscaping and physical structure balance very well.
The front porch was completely restored with a one of a kind lamp made “custom” for this space. I feel it captures the elegant beauty of this home in a small detail.
The front porch provides a relaxing place to spend time. A tall hedge of mature flowering bushes provide privacy under the shade of the front porch and a Japanese plum blossom tree.
At night, the beauty of this home’s architecture, seems more evident.
